Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University instituted by Government of NCT of Delhi below the planning of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999.The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University shall strain difficult to allow for a market orientated professional education to the student community of the India in general and of Delhi in special, with a view to serving the cause of higher education also as to assemble the demands of the Indian industries through promoting institutions of colleges and schools of studies as centres of excellence in issuing fields of education with focus on professional education in disciplines of engineering, technology, management, medicine, education, pharmacy, nursing, law etc..
Eligibility
The candidate need have attained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in their 10+2 system examinations of CBSE or an equivalent board.

GGSIPU CET 2011 Application Form
The University is also providing the facility of On-Line Submission of Application Form of CET – 2011. The Application Form along with the Common Entrance Test Fee can be submitted through Online is April, 2011.
Application process
The University is providing the service of On-Line Submission of Application Form of CET – 2011. The Application Form along with the Common Entrance Test Fee as postage and handlings may be submitted by Online is second week of April, 2011. The Admit Cards will be sent only by registered post. The Application Form complete in all respect in the sealed printed envelope given along with Admission Brochure, must be submitted by hand at the University counter or it may be sent by Registered / Speed Post to below given address.
Examination Pattern
GGSIPU-CET is not a common test for all courses. Students choosing various programmes have to perform different test in their respective subjects as per the scheduled date and time. However question papers of all subjects in GGSIPU-CET dwell of multiple-choice objective-type questions of 2 and a 1/2 hours duration containing 600 marks. The entire test contains 150 objective-type questions to be answered on the OMR answer sheet by marking the appropriate answer. Each question carries equal marks.
There is negative marking for incorrect answers.
Syllabus
The Common Entrance Test of Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University/GGSIPU is taken for several courses ranging from Arts to Science to Management to Engineering to medicine and so on. Therefore, there is no common syllabus for GGSIPU CET. For various programmes, separate tests are taken in the respective subjects or allied subjects. The information associated to the precise syllabus for each entrance test may be got from the official website of GGSIPU.

i have done my bcom from mumbai university … i had secured above 60% in both my ssc and hsc exams but my marks in tybcom are only 44%. i wanted to secure admission in guru gobind singh university for doing mba. will i get admissions if yes what are the admissons procedures. and what are the fees if i clear entance exams and i want to do distance learning from this university.
