Introduction
Gian Sagar Medical College and Hospital is famous as one of the prime medical institutions in the state of Punjab as well as Republic of India. The college gives caliber teaching at the undergraduate level, in the area of medical sciences. The UG course is a five-and-half-year program, which also admits one year of required internship. Placed in Patiala (Punjab), Gian Sagar Medical College & Hospital is a component part of Gian Sagar Educational and Charitable Trust. The medical college began working in 2007. It is attached to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and sanctioned by the Medical Council of India (MCI), Government of India.

Eligibility
Under the eligible criteria for this UG course, the students must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) taken together in PCB from any accepted state/national Board.
