The objective of the University was “to facilitate and encourage studies and research in emerging fields of higher teaching with focus on new frontiers of technology, pharmacy, environmental studies, non-conventional energy sources and management studies and also to attain excellence in these and connected fields”. It was constituted in 1995 and after then it has stayed true in its purpose, fulfilling its role as a facilitator between knowledge and society.
