Introduction
Government Medical College Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, began operating in 2000. The college is affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.
It is sanctioned by the Medical Council of India (MCI), Government of India, New Delhi and Government of Andhra Pradesh. Government Medical College offers 5.5 years bachelor’s degree courses in MBBS. Admission to this course is made through a merit list prepared on the basis of the score of the candidates in the EAMCET – Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test. The college has the capacity to admit 100 students for the undergraduate course. It provides modern facilities to its students.

Eligibility
To get admission in MBBS course in AIIMS a candidate has to pass class 12th with at least 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Admission procedure
Admission into MBBS Course would be done by CEE guided by PSG. P S G renders MBBS & PG Course. A Candidate who has passed his Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent examination with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Botany & Zoology are eligible to apply.
