Guntur Medical College
Introduction
The Guntur Medical College (GMC), Guntur came into being on 6th July, 1954 and has successfully finished 50 years of its serve in the medical area in India. The college is regarded as one of the prime medical institutions in Andhra Pradesh and it has played a crucial role in spreading medical teaching in the state. The college provides medical teaching to the students at both the UG and PG level and IT also provides Training to the Paramedical faculty like Radiographers, Lab. Technicians, Lab. Attendants, Pharmacists, Nurses, and Sanitary Inspectors. The college got associated to the Andhra Pradesh University of Health Sciences (APUHS), after the origination of the later in 1989. The APUHS is famous as NTRUHS and is placed in Vijayawada.
