Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University launched by Government of NCT of Delhi under the commissariat of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is calculated between the innovators of education in India. The University is becoming more than 60 programmes in 8 University Schools of Studies and 86 Institutes linked to it. The purpose of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is to encourage and facilitate research, studies and extension work in higher education and professional education in several disciplines.
