Doctor Hari Singh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, formerly University of Saugar, was established on 1946 by Dr. Harisingh Gour. This is 18th university of India and one of the biggest university. The university is recognized by UGC. The Govt. of India honoured his memory by issuing a commemorative postage stamp in 1976.the university offer various graduate and post graduation courses university also provide many facilities. The Jawaharlal Nehru Library of the University has more than 3, 10,000 books. The institute also provides distance learning education.

Eligibility
Candidate should have 3 year bachelor degree in any stream with 55 % aggregate marks from any recognized university. Appearing in final year candidate may also apply for three courses.
