ICFAI MCA 2011 Entrance Test
ICFAI MCA Test (IMCAT) is an entrance examination conducted by ICFAI School of Information Technology for admission to its MCA course. ICFAI has campuses at Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam and one more will soon be established in Pune. The students have to work hard to get admission in this school. Each and every year a fixed number of seats for this MCA program under ICFAI test are considered.
ICFAI is going to conduct a written test in 2011 for next academic session 2011-2012, the details are given below:-
Availability of application form
Candidates may download the Application Form. After completing the form, send it to the Admissions Officer along with a demand draft for prescribed fees. The form can also be obtained from the counter or by the post. The filled IMCAT 2010 application forms should be sent through speed post or courier to the institute office.
IMCAT 2011 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates of English medium who have a recognized bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Application/ Information Technology/Electronics or BSc/BA with Mathematics or Statistics at graduate level are eligible to apply the Entrance Exam.
How to apply
Candidates can apply online for IMCAT through the website isitindia.org and make the payment through credit card. Candidates can also download the form through the same website and send it along with a demand draft.
Important Dates (Tentative) 2011
Date of Entrance Examination: beginning of the month of May, 2011
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: third week of April, 2011
Announcement of Results: mid of 3rd week of May, 2011
Examination Pattern for IMCAT 2011
IMCAT will be of 3 hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions from the following sections:
Analytical ability
Mathematical ability
Vocabulary
Business and computer terminology
Functional grammar
Reading comprehension
