Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad has Been Declared as a deemed university established under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 vide notification no. F.9-4/99-U.3 dated 4/8/2000 of the govt. of India. A centre of excellence in information technology demonstrated by ministry of HRD, govt. of India, IIIT-Allahabad declares admissions for its 2 years MBA (IT) and MS (CLIS) programs

The Candidate must have Passed Graduates from any field with valid CAT score (GMAT score for FN/NRI’s)

The Candidate must have Passed BE/B.Tech/Post graduates/LL.B or equivalent from any recognized University.
How to apply:
Application form-cum-information brochure can be obtained from the Institute in person or on request. The request letter must be superscribed ‘request for MBA (IT)/MS (CLIS) program application form’

2. Application form with Bookplate is also available at the website www.iiita.ac.in cost of application form is Rs 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates) to be paid in cash or through DD of any nationalized bank drawn in favour of IIIT-Allahabad payable at Allahabad.
3. In case of downloaded forms from website, demand draft [Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates)] may go with the finished application form, without which it shall be summarily refused.
Selection Process
Based on CAT Core, Personal Interview and GD.

09th November, 2009 is the date of Sale of application form-cum-information brochure begins
03rd February, 2010 is The Last date of issuing (in person) and receiving completed application forms at IIIT-A counter
21 January, 2010 is The Extended from the earlier date
Date of entrance test and interview (at IIIT-Allahabad only) for screened in applicants: MBA IT – 20th and 21st February 2010, MS (CLIS) – 27th and 28th February 2010
