IILM Ranchi
Introduction
Indian Institute of Legal Metrology, a specific open up institute of its nature, usually known as IILM, is a statuary body founded by the G.O.I under section 76 of the Stds of Wts & Ms Act, 1976 (60 of 1976). It is only one of the forms not only in India but also a vertex institute in the South and South East- Asia. This institute is running under direct control of Central Govt., Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, section of Consumer Affairs. It is good-equipped with reputed, highly educated, experienced faculty members, resourceful laboratories and other allied necessary services to disable it to function efficaciously in the area of legal metrology. The total field of IILM is around 70000 m2.
