The Department of Biotechnology at IIT Madras was launched in 2004 with a sight to make an impact through research, technology based training and invention and service to society. The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) was launched as an independent institute of national importance in 1959 by the Government of India. One of the seven respected IITs in India, this institute has been phenomenal in grooming the students. IIT Madras is one of the greenest residential campuses in the country. IIT Madras has been serving the students for over 50 years and imparting quality education.

I had just completed m.sc biotechnology from gujrat.so can i applay in chennai IIT?
