IIT Delhi was launched in 1961. At that time it was cognized as College of Engineering.
IIT Delhi has been a prime institution for engineering education since it was launched over 40 years ago. Mechanical Engineering Department is one of the most previous departments of the institute. It was then granted the status of a deemed university with abilities to determine its own academic policy, to carry on its own examinations, and to honor its own degrees. Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the seven Institutes of Technology made as centers of excellence for higher training, research and development.

The candidates must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board.
Selection process
The candidate’s selection to all Undergraduate Programmes (B .Tech. in Mechanical Engineering) is made through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
Admission process
Candidate has to fill out an application form that is available at the official site of the institute. They also have to give an entrance test that is conduct by the university. Application form will be submitted before the last date of submission.

hello..my name is bhavya mehta..m a student from mechanical discipline..can u guide me and tell a location from where i can access a video lecture on iron carbide diagram as well as ttt diagram..and is it possible for any of the venerable faculty from ur institution to come up with a video on this topic
