IIT Kanpur Summer Training
Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur conveys out original research of import and technology development at the cutting edge. The Summer Undergraduate Research allow for Excellence (SURGE) program, undergraduate students from IITK and other part taking institutions will undertake short duration, but centered research plans and force their rational powers beyond those aimed by the classroom. In this program, IITK students in Second and Third Year undergraduate students, Fourth Year Dual Degree BTech-MTech or Integrate MSc Students, and First Year Msc students are committed a unique opportunity to pass 10 weeks of the summer at one of four prestigious universities.

Summer Undergraduate Research Grant for Excellence (SURGE) Programme,

MSc,
BTech-Mtech dual,
MSc (Integrated))

Duration –
10 weeks from early-May to end-July of each year.

Selection process
Students will be selected for participating in SURGE Programme based on their merit & inclination for research. The short-listed candidates would be called by for an interview by the above mentioned committee, for the final selection.

How to apply
The candidate can fill an On-line application form for SURGE Programme. It is available at the official webside and following link: ONLINE APPLICATION FORM. The On-line form must have a clear Statement of Proposed Research Problem that the student likes to undertake during the programme.
