Biomedical engineering (BME) is the application of engineering principles and methods to solve medical and biological problems. The group was initially begun as a biomechanics group dealing only with the troubles linked to human body mechanics. The research in Biomedical Engg group focuses on Bioelectronics, Biomedical Signal Processing, Haptics and Biomedical Optics. It integrates electrical, mechanical, chemical and life science principles in the growth of new healthcare technologies and systems, as well as in furnishing a better understanding of the mechanisms of human life. The laboratory usually has students pursuing Masters and Doctoral research.

Dear sir/madam,
Iam a student of B.tech bio-medical engineering and I want to continue my study on same subject but I didn’t get any subject named bio-medical for GATE exam.So can u please kindly inform me that in which subject I have to give my Gate exam so that I can apply for my higher study.I would be greatful for your kind information.
