Indian Institute of Technology-Roorkee Department of Management Studies (IITD-DoMS) carries on an admission process for its MBA programme. IITR-DoMS is providing MBA programmes after 1998. IIT Roorkee is the most former technical institution in the nation constituted in 1847 as Thomason College of Engineering. After independence it was famous as University of Roorkee and in 2001 it got status of Indian Institute of Technology. There is no doubt in the credibility of IITs in the area of technical teaching but IITR-DoMS as a management school is also considered amonst the most reputed institutes for management teaching.

Eligibility
A candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or equal OR Master’s degree in any field or equal with at least 60% aggregate marks or equal CGPA in the qualifying exam. Individuals in their last year of qualifying exam can also apply. There will be relaxation of 5% marks or equal in CGPA for SC/ST individuals.
Application Forms
The form will be available by post by sending a request for the form to IITR-DoMS. After receiving the form candidates have to send the filled form along with a DD of Rs. 500(Rs. 250 for SC/ST/PD) in favor of ‘The Chairman, PG Admission, And Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee’. Individuals can also download the application form by the website: www.iitr.ac.in.
