Selection Procedure for Indian Army Soldiers (Technical) M.E.R. Exam:
The Selections for the Indian Army Soldiers M.E.R. Exam has been given on the basis of a written test divided into two parts. The First Paper contains three sections: General Intelligence, Mathematical Power and General Knowledge. The Second Paper contains questions on Physics (30 marks), Chemistry (20 marks) and Mathematics (50 marks).
Physical Standards for Indian Army Soldiers (Technical) M.E.R. Exam:
1. The Minimum Height of the examinees must be 167 cm, which can make up relaxed for examinees belonging to certain regions.
2. Chest Measurement: On expansion, the student chest measurement should not be less than 77 cm with lower limit range of expansion of 5 cm.
3. Minimum Weight of the examinees must be 50 KG, which can be relaxed for examinees belonging to certain areas.
4. General Health: The examinee must be free of all diseases and cardiovascular, medical or surgical deformities or contagion.
