Introduction
The Indian Institute of Forest Management the best institute in forest management launched in the 1982 is an independent creation situated at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, India, set up by the Ministry of natural world and Forests, Government of India with financial help from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and course help from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. The Institute’s aim is to satisfy the developing demand for managerial human resource in forest and allied spheres. The Institute has grown as an Educational, Research, and Training and Consultancy system and is gradually gaining an internationally visible name.

Post Graduate Diploma in Forest Management (PFM) and
Fellow Program in Natural Resource Management (FPM)

Placement
Most placements are with the surroundings and growth sphere with NGO’s, though currently a number of Banks and Micro Finance Institutions have took part in campus placements.
