ILI CAT Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test
Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test, which is also known as ILI CAT, is directed by the Indian Law Institute, which is a deemed University. The entrance test is guided for admission in postgraduate level programme in the field of law – Master of Laws (LLM), a 2-year full time course. Indian Law Institute, located in Delhi, came into existence in 1956. In 2004, it was announced as a ‘Deemed University’ under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The institute is also accredited by University Grants Commission (UGC). Indian Law Institute will carry ILI CAT for giving admission in its upcoming session 2011-2013, the exam will be held in 2011.

The entrance test is conducted for the following course: LLM
ILI CAT 2011 Eligibility
For LL.M: LL.B. with 50% marks, For Post Graduate courses except Labour Law, and the minimum requirement is Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. For PG Diploma in Labour Law the minimum requirement is Law Degree or M.A. in Social Sciences (IInd Division)
Availability of Application forms:
Candidates may get the form of ILI CAT from Indian Law Institute admission counter. Candidates may also download the form by the website www.ilidelhi.org. One may also get the forms of ILI CAT through the ILI office by post by sending a DD along with the request for form.
Selection process
Admission to Master of Laws (LL.M.) – (2 years) shall be made on the merit of the marks obtained by the candidates in the Common Admission Test (CAT) to be held on mid of June 2011 (Saturday) and performance of the candidate during Viva-Voce to be conducted by the Institute after CAT.
