Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya
Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya was founded in 1987. It is an autonomous institute. This is well known for quality education. IGKV provide various bachelor and master degree courses. The College of Agriculture was established under the government of Madhya Pradesh in 1961 and it was shifted to the present campus in 1964. College is also indirectly connected with Kolkata via Nagpur and Mumbai.
