Database designed to provide medical professionals, researchers, students and the medical library professional quick and easy access to Indian literature. Aim of INDMED database is allow for exposure to articles published in learned biomedical journals from India. The selection of journals for indexing in INDMED is done by “INDMED Journals Selection Committee (IJSC)”. Presently, the IJSC has laid down the criteria for choice of journals.

Selection of Journals for Indexing in INDMED
Journal should have started atleast three years prior to selection.
Preference is to be given to Non-MEDLINE journals to avoid duplication of efforts.
Journal should be Peer-reviewed.
Journal should be issued on time.
Journal should be published atleast twice in a year.
