Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has been awarded with an ‘A’ Grade certification by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It has also been acknowledged with the ISO 9001:2000 Certification. It is an associating cum teaching University that objective to facilitate and encourage studies; research and extension work in the arena of higher teaching. In the year 1999, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University was constituted by the Government of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998. The University is accepted by University Grants Commission (UGC).
