Introduction
The Institute of Finance and International Management Business School is located in Bangalore was established in 1995. The first batch of management students at this institute graduated in the year 1997. IFIM Business School is one of the renowned management institutes in the private field. The aim of the IFIM is to develop global leaders for the recreation of excellence in management. IFIM operates under the Center of Developmental Education (CDE), a society certified under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act. It is one of the few business schools recognized by the AICTE. Besides the regular PGDBM courses it also provides authority executive MBA programs.

Each student works under the direction of a staff member to examine a business topic of the student’s selecting. Students are required to spend a minimum of 15 working days on the Research program.
Eligibility
Any Graduate from a legal university can apply for admissions to the MBA course; students taking their final year exam may also apply for provisional admissions, subject to clearing all the necessities stated by the various government authorities.
Admission Procedure
A candidate will have to take the entrance exam and Personal Interview as per the schedule specified. An all India merit list will be announced and selected students would be sent letter/email, informing them about their selection and last date to confirm their admission.
Selection Procedure
Candidates who have a valid all India level written Test score like CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/MH-MBA-CET/ECAT will be exempted from the institute’s written test and shall have to appear only for the Personal Interview
Placement
The Placement Committee of the institute is guided by a senior staff and supported by other staff members, an experienced placement officer and student placement committee is responsible for facilitating 100% placement of students.
