The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi launched the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University under the planning of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act 1998.The main intention of the University is to further research and extension work in issuing fields of higher education. It is a consorting and teaching University that aims to help and advance studies, research and extension work in rising fields of higher education with focus.
