Introduction
IRDA was establishing by the parliament in 1999. The section 4 of IRDA Act’ 1999, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority specify the composition of Authority. The writings talk in terms of sharing of resources that could be re-distributed in times of calamities such as fire, floods, epidemics and famine. This organization came into being in 1999 after the bill of IRDA was passed in the Indian parliament.
