FPM
The FPRM is a doctoral programme of lower limits three years and maximum six years length. It is intended for students and professionals seeking careers in Research, Teaching and narrowed knowledge-based places in Rural Management Institutions. The overall destinations of the programme are to
Encourage scholarship and build knowledge in the area of Rural Management;
Grow scholars and teachers in rural management; and
Stimulate academic and research work in IRMA.

Eligibility
To be eligible for admission to the Programme a student must satisfy one of the following conditions
PRM from IRMA; or
OYP from IRMA with one year post-diploma work experience; or
Post Graduation in any discipline from a accepted University or Institution with 55% marks at PG and 50% marks at graduation (college) level; or
Five year professional degree (Medicine, Veterinary Science, Architecture, etc.) with 60% marks at graduation; or
Four year professional degree (Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, etc.) with 60% marks at graduation and one year work experience.

Admission
The FPRM admission process consists three stages. The first stage involves screening of the applications. The second stage comprises of a written test. Personal interviews are carried on at the third stage.

Placement
The Programme is meant to develop scholars, teachers and professionals with doctoral education.
