Introduction
Jayawant Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) is handled and function by Jaywant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal. The institute came into existence in 2004 Settled in Pune (Maharashtra), the management college is affiliated to University of Pune. Jayawant Institute of Management Studies has been sanctioned by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India New Delhi. The college contains postgraduate courses in the area of business management (MBA) and computer applications (MCA). The Placement Committee of the School guided by a senior staff and supported by other staff members, an experienced placement officer and student placement committee is responsible for facilitating 100% placement of students.
Research Project
Each student works under the direction of a staff member to examine a business topic of the student’s selecting. Students are required to spend a minimum of 15 working days on the Research program.
Eligibility
Any Graduate from a legal university can apply for admissions to the MBA course; students taking their final year exam may also apply for provisional admissions, subject to clearing all the necessities stated by the various government authorities.
Admission Procedure
A candidate will have to take the entrance exam and Personal Interview as per the schedule specified. An all India merit list will be announced and selected students would be sent letter/email, informing them about their selection and last date to confirm their admission.
Selection Procedure
Candidates who have a valid all India level written Test score like CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/MH-MBA-CET/ECAT will be exempted from the institute’s written test and shall have to appear only for the Personal Interview
