The School of Distance Education, Karpagam University was constituted in 2009 after getting due approval of joint committee of UGC-AICTE-DEC. The main aim of the School of Distance Education is to provide to the higher teaching aspirations of the beneath privileged and disadvantaged sections of the society who could not enter the portals of formal system of higher teaching due to social and economic circumstances. The School of Distance Education of Karpagam University is headed by the Director ably backed by a team of Academic counselors drawn from various Faculties of the University and administrative staff.
