Karunya University is situated 25 kms away from Coimbatore in the very bosom of Mother Nature. Karunya University has one of the loveliest campuses in India. The University is environed by an array of green-clad, sky scraping mountains of the Western Ghats. The weather is cool and breezy with the clouds from the Kerala side drifting eminent over the mountains giving frequent drizzles. The Siruvani River with its crystal clear water has its beginning here and it is nature’s boon to Coimbatore. The Siruvani reservoir, which supplies water to Coimbatore City, is some 17 kms away up in the hills on the Kerala side. Just 2 kms away from the campus on three sides one will hit the Tamilnadu reserve forest. The renowned Kovai Kurtallam falls are situated 2 kms inside this forest and are accessible by motorable road. Elephants, panthers and wild boars at times wander in to these parts of the forest. The Noyyal River, which flows by Coimbatore and Tirupur on its way to the Bhavani, originates here and their branch environs the Karunya campus.
