Kasturba Medical College
Introduction
Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal was founded on June 30, 1953. The college began with just the pre-clinical department at Manipal as the students had to went to Mangalore for their clinical teaching. In 1969, when the clinical programme started in Manipal, KMC got a total-mature autonomous college. Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal, is the beginning medical college in the private sphere in India. Also famous by the name, KMC Manipal Kasturba Medical College Manipal got acknowledgement from Medical Council of India (MCI) in 1958. In 1969 with the beginning of clinical program.
