Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical (LLRM) College is placed in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The college began its first academic session in 1966. Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College is attached to Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), once Meerut University. The college was called after Lala Lajpat Rai, to pay a tribute to the famous freedom fighter. The Department of Ophthalmology of the medical college is regarded as one of the imperative ophthalmic centers in Western U.P. Lala Lajpat Rai Medical College provides caliber teaching in numerous courses, at both undergraduate and post graduate levels.
