Distance Education under L N Mithila University, Kameshwarnagar Darbhanga was began on 07/02/1998 by the order of vice memo no –P/D 54-139/98 at 07/02/98 the letter published by the Development Officer, L N Mithila University, Kameshwarnagar Darbhanga position that the teaching of Distance Education will be commenced from the academic session 1998-99.Since its organization, the University is fully accepted by the University Grants Commission (UGC).University campus gifted with hundreds of rare plants of medicative grandness also wide ambit of variety. In 1975 the Mithila University was called as Lalit Narayan Mithila University.
