Lighting is geared toward students who wish to collect a broad education in lighting research and design while working closely with LRC faculty. The Lighting is the premier master’s level graduate degree offered in the field of lighting. The two-year program allows for a comprehensive, “hands-on” study of lighting which accomplishes in a assumption project in the second year during which each student studies a particular area of interest in-depth directly with a faculty advisor.
Fields of lighting design
Lighting historic buildings, both internally and externally
Exhibition, gallery and display lighting of particularly sensitive objects such as works of art
Energy conservation schemes, light pollution assessment, energy audits
Calculations of daylight levels glare and sun path analysis
