Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College (MLBMC) is an esteemed medical college placed at Jhansi, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The institute is attached to University of Bundelkhand, Bundelkhand. Most of the courses provided by Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College are accepted by the Medical Council of India (MCI) .There are several courses, which are provided by the MLBMC. Founded in 1948, it was begun to furnish medical help to the underprivileged section of the society.

Admission to MBBS course is built on the base of competitive examination. The annual intake of MBBS is 50 out of which 15% seats are filled by All India PM / PD examination carried by CBSE. Remaining 85% seats are nominated by the UP Government. Reservation policy of the Government is adoptive.
MD / MS / DIPLOMA
A total of 54 seats are there out of which 11 are for diploma courses. Admission to 50% of the MCI accepted seats is made by AIPGMEE carried by AIIMS, New Delhi and remaining seats are filled by UPPGME carried by the medical college nominated by the UP Govt. The UPPGME is being carried by the GSVM medical college Kanpur. Besides above 2 additional seats in DCH is kept for medical officers belonging to UP PMS cadre. The student for these seats is named by the UP Govt.
