The Development Management program is primarily concerned with development, and with facilitators and obstacles to development, whether these are environmental or social, economic or political. The coursework Masters Degree in Development Studies is offered over one or two years and includes a dissertation component. The aim of the programme is to produce students who are able to analyse, formulate and evaluate alternative development policies as well as to be knowledgeable about alternative development theories.
