The Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) is a public medical college in Delhi associated to University of Delhi. It is called later Indian independence battler and beginning teaching minister of free India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. It is placed at Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi. MAMC is one of India’s prime medical colleges and systematically ranked amongst the top medical schools.

Contest for entrance to this institute is extremely competitory. The entrance examination for MAMC is by a common pre-medical test (Delhi Pre-Medical Test, DPMT), carried by Delhi University for all its attached medical schools. 180 students are acknowledged each year. Reservation for the backward and underprivileged class is to the extent of 33%. In-state residents have a taste towards almost 75% of the seats. Students who have graduated from high school can perform for the admission test
