The Directorate of Distance teaching of the University currently has in its rolls 56,000 students spread over 108 study centers and 10 program centers in 17 states. The Directorate aims to train the uneducated youth, dropouts, women, housewives and uneducated adults belonging to the middle and lower rungs of the society.
