Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak was instituted through an Act of Legislative Assembly of Haryana in the year 1976. The University has launched six Chairs to behavior research on the lives and parts of some eminent Indians.
The University today operates under 13 faculties with 27 post-graduate sections on the campus functioning 77 academic programmes.
