MPSC Exam 2011 Maharashtra Public Service Commission Recruitment

Maharashtra Public Service Commission is the central agency in the state to carry written examinations and interviews for appointees to respective government posts. The commission functions as an advisory body to the state government for all matters linking to systems of recruitment, principles of selection, suitability of the candidates for such posts. The commission is also obligated for appointments to several posts for the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and that of Grade – A – II officers in the Mumbai Electric Supply and Transport undertaking. The commission issues about the empty positions in the state government in the advertisement and announcement part of the website. It also offers details regarding the general information such as the number of vacancies, desired educational qualification and other details in the web page. Maharashtra Public Service Commission has recruited the candidates in 2010 for the following posts in 2011 the MPSC will be opened the similar vacancies, related details are given below:-

Eligibility: Any graduate, above 6o% and OBC candidate, SC, ST 55%, qualified for preliminary examination. Some post required special qualification like engineering services required B.E. Special reservations for x-service mans.

How to Apply: The Application Forms may be got from the selected branches of post office or by post by sending a DD of requisite amount drawn in favour of Maharashtra Public Service Commission.

Selection Procedure: The selection will be created by a 2 tier selection procedure namely, a preliminary Test, Main Test and Personal Interview. Successful candidate of the preliminary Test will be called for the main test. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for personal interview at selected centers.
