National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR) was founded in 1977 as ‘Malaria Research Centre’, which was called as ‘National Institute of Malaria Research’ recently in November 2005. The main task of the Institute is to detect short term as well as long term solutions to the troubles of malaria through basic, enforced and operational field research. The Institute also acts a key function in man power resource development through trainings/workshops and transfer of technology. The various positions under World Bank and other Projects, based in Delhi are to be filled up on exclusively ad hoc, temporary and on contractual basis on a consolidated salary, co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility
The condidate should have completed Post-graduate degree in Life Science/Biotechnology. Experience in entomology, molecular biology and insecticide resistance with knowledge in data management preferred.
