Mumbai University Kalina Campus
The University of Bombay has one of its two campuses placed in the Kalina field in East Santa Cruz; the older is the “Fort Campus”, the original campus, while this is a newer one. The name Kalina is derived from the older name “Kole-Kalyan” – “Kalyan of the Kolis”; the campus has been given the name “Vidyanagari” or “City of Knowledge”. The Campus is leapt by the C.S.T. road on two sides.
