The Global Open University, Nagaland, passed by the Government of Nagaland under The Global Open University Act 2006 (Act 3 of 2006) got the acquiescence of the Governor of Nagaland on 30 August 2006 and was apprised vide Notification number Law/Act-10/2006 on 18 September 2006. The commissariat of The Global Open University Act 2006 was printed in the Nagaland Official Gazette on 18 September 2006 for general information.

Eligibility for Nagaland University MBA
Graduation with 50% marks for general and 45% for SC/ST. (students appearing in last year degree examination are also eligible to apply, however, if chose, their admission will be subject to submission of their tentative result showing an aggregate percentage most recent by August 2010, failing which their provisional admission shall stand cancelled.
Admission procedure
The admission is based on the Valid MAT Score and after group discussion and personal interview is carried by the institute.
