Acharya Nagarjuna University is a comparatively new public University compared to prime institutions like Andhra University, just coming out of its infancy, though compared to some other private and public financed universities in the region it is old, and one of the biggest universities in the region of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is placed in Nagarjuna Nagar, on the Northern part of Guntur City, a major centre of private financed colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
