The Nagpur University was founded on 4th August, 1923 with six linked colleges and 927students. It has been licensed with ‘A’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council(NAAC).Currently University controls of thirty-Seven Postgraduate Teaching Departments (PGTD), three component Colleges/Institutions (Law college, Laxminarayan Institute of Technology, and College of Education).The expansion of library and sports facilities passed during these years for the cerebral and physical well being of the students. It is now marked as one of the toughest universities in the country due to its rigorous assessment.
