NALSAR was founded in 1998 below the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University Act. National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) includes candidates to its BA LLB and LLM courses by CLAT. NALSAR is a fully residential university. Nalsar University has been greeted by University Grants Commission. Nalsar accepts the students to the 5 years incorporated BA LLB (hons) program through the Common Law Entrance Test to be held on 11th May.

Eligibility Criteria
B.A. LLB (Hons) with 55% aggregate marks

Important Dates for CLAT
Availability of Application Forms: January 2nd week, 2011
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: April 2nd week, 2011
Date of Entrance Examination: May End, 2011

Exam Pattern
The entrance Exam for admission to the B.A LLB (Hons) includes questions on general knowledge, reasoning and legal aptitude, general English and comprehension, questions on current topics and attempt writing on current topics.

How to apply
Since the admission to NALSAR is through CLAT candidates need to apply for CLAT. The Candidates can find the form of CLAT through designated branches of Indian Bank, State bank of India and completely participating National Law Schools. Candidates can also download the form through the official website. One can also get the forms of CLAT by the CLAT office by post by sending a demand draft on with the request for form.
