Introduction
Narula Institute of Technology is a social unit of JIS Group of academic college, handled under the Narula Educational Trust. It was founded by Sardar Jodh Singh, an esteemed & high industrialist, whose very life determines the word “Karamyogi”. Belonging to the uncommon breed of successful industrialists who feel that they owe a debt to be society and are devoted to repay it, he establish this Charitable Trust with a view to giving education of highest caliber in several areas, particularly in technology and management, the two core fields which are of immense require in to-days world in a growing nation like Narula Institute of Technology. Narula Institute of Technology was started by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri Buddhadeb Bhattacharya on August 17th 2001, Hon’ble Minister of Higher Education; Sri Satya Sadhan Chakraborty also decorated the function.

Eligibility
Undergraduate:
B Tech
The students must have passed Higher Secondary or its equal examination in science stream from a accredited board. The student must be a diploma holder in Engineering/Technology for the lateral entry into the II Year (Third Semester) of B Tech program.
BBA
The students must have passed their Higher Secondary or its equal examination, from a accredited Board.
BCA
The students are needed to pass their Higher Secondary or its equal examination from a accredited Board, with Mathematics as one of the important subjects.
Post Graduate
M Tech
The students must have a BE/B Tech degree in the applicable area, from an accredited University.
MCA
The student requires having a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with mathematics as one of the subjects, from a accredited University.
MBA
The student, having a Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a accredited university, is eligible.
Admission Procedure
Undergraduate:
BE/B Tech
Admission is done by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WB JEE) for the 80% of the seats and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) for the 10% of the seats while left 10% seats available are fulfilled by the Management number.
For Lateral Entry into the II Year -
Registration is done by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for lateral entry (JELET) carried section of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal, for a level best limit of 10% of the intake in each subject.
BBA/BCA
The students are chose by their achievement in CET, carried by West Bengal University of Technology.
