The National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research (NCAOR) was founded as an autonomous R & D Institution of the Department of Ocean Development (DOD) on the 25th May 1998. The Candidates accomplishing the prescribed qualification conditions are invited to attend a walk-in interview at NCAOR on 22/3/2011.

The candidate should not exceed 30 years as on the date of interview
Age relaxation to the employees of GOI and SC/ST/OBC as per GOI norms
Consolidate Emoluments
Rs. 12,000/- p.m. + ship allowance of Rs. 100/- per day during the stay on board( This Amount is in Approx )
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have passed B.Sc. in any branch of Science or Diploma in Engineering.
Desirable
The candidate must have Experience in sailing on board ship preferably research ships
Essential
Holding valid Passport
NCAOR 2011 How to apply
The date of Walk-in interview is on 22/3/2011 and is the cut-off date for all the purposes.
Director, NCAOR has the right to relax the qualification criteria of the candidates of particular track record and experience matching to the requirement and also to cancel the requirement process at any level, without assigning any reason thereof.
The person employed will not be treated on par with regular employees of NCAOR and shall have no right to claim implicit or explicit for their absorption or regularization in NCAOR. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
