National Institute of Mental Health Hyderabad launched in 1984 at Manovikasnagar, Secunderabad Andhra Pradesh. The institute is fast moving toward its silver jubilee to celebrate it’s gave facilities to persons with mental deceleration in the domestic interest. NIMH has three regional centers decided at New Delhi, Mumbai, & Kolkata, NIMH Model Special Education Center located at New Delhi. National Institute of Mental Health Hyderabad is an autonomous Body beneath the administrative control of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India
