National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with an announced aims of comely a centre of Excellency for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has announced NIPER as ’Institute of National grandness’. It is an independent body establish beneath the auspices of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The Institute is placed about 250 Km north of Delhi at S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali), Punjab on a total field of 130 acres.
