National Institute of Siddha Exam 2011
National Institute of Siddha, (NIS) Chennai was set up in 1998 under the Societies (Registration) Act 1860 in pursuance of the policy of the Deptt., to set up one national level institute for each Indian System of Medicine & Homeopathy. The main objective of the institute is to impart post-graduate education in Siddha, to conduct research, to provide medical care through Siddha system of medicine and to promote and propagate the science and technique of Siddha. National Institute of Siddha, (NIS) is inviting application form for its upcoming session 2011-2012 for post-graduate education programmes, all the related details are given below:-

NIS Entrance Exam 2011 Eligibility
One must have pass in B.I.M / B.S.M.S Degree Examination of any Indian University with successful completion of Compulsory Rotatory Resident Internship (C.R.R.I.).
Application form:
Interested candidates can obtain the application form and information brochure from the Director, National Institute of Siddha, Tambaram Sanatorium, Chennai – 47 by giving a request letter along with a crossed DD of prescribed fees in favor of Director, NATIONAL Institute of Siddha “payable at Chennai. In case of SC / ST candidates the cost of application is less subject to production of a duly attested Xerox copy of SC / ST certificate, issued by the competent authority. Selection Procedure:
Selection of the candidate is based on the personal interview and written test of candidate. The candidate selection is also based on the rules and regulation of the National Institute of Siddha.

Last date for issue of application form: End of March 2011 up to 5.00 p.m.
Last date for receipt of filled – in application form: first week of April up to 5.00 p.m.
