The National Centre for Plant Genome Research has been launched by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, to coincide with the 50th anniversary of India’s independence also as birth anniversary of Prof. (Dr.) J.C. Bose. The formal proclamation was made on November 30th 1997. National Centre for Plant Genome Research (NCPGR) is offering Admission ‘to Ph. D: Programme in Plant Molecular Biology and Plant Genomics.
Eligibility
The condidate must have First Division or equivalent grade or at least 60% aggregate score at each stage from Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) onwards are involved.
Selection Procedure
- Qualifying test (Written Exam)
- Professional Interview
The Candidates chose after the interview are enrolled for the NCPGR Ph.D. programme in academic affiliation with the JNU.
Ph.D. Programme Schedule
Guide and Laboratory choice for thesis work will only be made after fortunate completion of course work
The curriculum is expected to commence during first week of August
Depending on their proportional scholastic standing and merit, candidates enrolled for Ph.D. degree are extended fellowship.
